This workshop will take place on Sunday 18th February 2018 between 10am and 1pm at Red Dawn Studio, 73a Leadside Road, Aberdeen, AB25 1RX.

It is aimed primarily at those who are new to photographing the nude but offers insights and ideas for artistic nude photography that may be suitable for all levels. The workshop will last approximately 3 hours and cost £85 . To ensure adequate tuition and shoot time for everyone, numbers are limited to six people and must be booked in advance.

Rachelle is probably the highest regarded art nude model of her genaration and has featured in publications and exhibitions worldwide. We have worked with Rachelle on more workshops than any other model because, quite simply, she is the best.

What you won't get:
I approach all my workshops from the perspective that we are all individuals and therefore don't always want the same. Some of the biggest complaints about studio workshops are about photographer "scrums" or that everyone ends up with virtually the same images, nice images but not what they really want. This happens because tutors find it easier to create a setup and pose the model, then let everyone take the shot. That will not happen on these workshops. Everyone will taking part will have one-to-one shooting time with the model and in addition to the group tuition, assistance from the tutor as required during their shooting time.

In the introduction workshop, we start by introducing the studio equipment and the model. We will talk about communication and planning and then move on to a few simple lighting demonstrations. Then each person will get some one-to-one time with the model to practice. We will then move on to more advanced set-ups and follow the same pattern. The idea is that you learn to create your own images, armed with the information you have received and the skills and assistance of a top professional model.
